FAQs
A page dedicated to commonly asked questions. Hopefully, you will find the answer to your question here. This page is updated regularly with new questions as I get them. If you don't see your question here, please drop me a message or give me a ring, and I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you have.
What are your qualifications? I have a bachelor's degree (Hons) from the Open University, with modules including working with children and young people, youth justice, the science of the senses, psychology, and business studies, as well as a couple of fun modules. I also have Level 2 qualifications in understanding children and young people's mental health, safeguarding, prevent (counter-terrorism), and British values.
What is your experience? I have volunteered in schools as a school reader, worked in children's care homes as a residential support worker, and currently I volunteer with Mind to offer lower level support for mental health issues in the community.
Are you registered with any governing bodies? Not currently. My goal is to get registered with the BPS by December 2026, after I complete a master's degree in psychology.
How do I make an appointment? The best way to make an appointment is to get in touch with me, either by email, phone call or Facebook message. You can also book online, but this is better for appointments with more notice, as it can take up to 24 hours to register on the system.
How many times will I need to see you? You can see me as many or as few times as you want to, or as you think would be helpful. Every person is different so it's always a unique answer.
How do I pay? Payment is due the next working day after the session, by 5pm unless otherwise stated. I take bank transfers, PayPal or cash as forms of payment.
